Data Conversion Process
Converting your data from your current system is an important step. Our experience with hundreds of organizations allows us to make this process as comfortable and stress-free as possible. Our team will walk you through each step as they carefully export and import your data to get you up and running with MemberZone.
There are three conversion options.
- Blank Database: A Senior Account Manager (SAM) sets up a blank database within one business day and the customer enters all data into the system.
- Standard Data Import (SDI): With the SDI option, the customer provides their membership list pre-formatted according to our Standard Data Import instructions. The Senior Account Manager (SAM) will import the file and help with any questions to quickly create the new database. This is ideal for organizations that already have their membership lists in a Microsoft Excel or CSV format.
- Custom Conversion: The custom conversion delivers top-notch service during the data conversion process – complete with billing and data consults with a Conversion Specialist before the conversion as well as a quality assurance check after the process is complete. This option is recommended for associations that currently track more than basic membership information, such as events and billing data, or don’t wish to use staff time to pre-format their existing membership file.
Once the database is complete and ready to use, a Senior Account Manager (SAM) will schedule admin training, billing training and also credit card integration training.
